William Scott 1913-1989

Born in Greenock, Scotland and educated at Belfast College of Art and the Royal Academy Schools in London. William Scott was a highly talented artist whose sensitive handling of composition and inventiveness as a colourist, established him as an important figure in British contemporary art.
We have beautiful quality rugs in two designs. 'Way In' based on the original oil painting by Scott in 1963 and 'White & Blue' based on Scotts original oil painting from 1960.
