sawitfirst.co.uk was founded in 2002.
sawitfirst.co.uk started in the back of a garage with a couple of PC's and one big aim - to bring good quality, well-designed individual furniture and home accessories to as many folk as we could.
Everywhere we looked we saw the same tired old brands, yet everywhere we turned we met enthusiastic designers, makers, importers and and agents who, like us,  either designed and made great stuff or who had access to people who did.
So we got together with them to bring their stuff to the widest audience we could find in the most effective way we could. That's why we set up sawitfirst.co.uk  - the internet seemed the obvious answer and so it has proved with many of our products featuring on TV and in the press (see Press & TV section further down the page).
The founders  recently sold sawitfirst.co.uk to Homebird of Wilslow who will be continuing to provide a great range of furniture, gifts and accessories.
