Roger Phillips is one of the U.K's leading young furniture designers. Following a period of study
at Shrewsbury under the tutelage of the renowned Hugh Scriven and a B.A Hons in 
Furniture Design, Roger's work has been exhibited at a number of shows through the 
country including the prestigious New Designers exhibition at the Business Design Centre in 
London. Roger's work has also been featured in a number of magazines including Furniture and 
Cabinet Making and The Woodworker. As a mark of his quality he was recently elected to the 
Guild of Master Craftsman. 
 
Every piece of furniture produced by Roger Phillips Design is carefully constructed 
managed forests. Among the timbers used by Roger are Ash, Oak, Cherry and Sycamore. Each
item is produced by Roger in his workshop and is hand-crafted and carefully constructed with
attention to fine detail.

Many of the items are finished with varnishes and polishes that are
themselves specially prepared for each piece.As a member of the Guild of Master Craftsman
quality service comes as standard.
