Our Whitstable barbeque is way too cool!
Traditionally constructed from a Whitstable bucket it is strong, portable, versatile and a very good barbeque to boot.
Works on the same principle as a Kelly Kettle - thanks to the holes around the base a chimney effect is created so it fires up in seconds and is ready to cook in minutes. Perfect for the beach - carry all your stuff in the bucket then get barbequeing.
But it's not just for the beach, it is the perfect "go anywhere" bbq for that special barbeque in the great outdoors.
This beach barbeque is especially good for cooking fresh fish down on the beach. It's also very practical - thanks to the traditional wooden and steel bucket handle you can use the bucket to easily carry your coals and food down to your secret barbeque location!
The Whitstable BBQ is made in three parts, the bucket, a tray that sits inside the bucket where the charcoal goes and the griddle on top.
