Something to do with a down on his luck otter if we remember rightly. Or maybe that was Tarka the Otter? A bit like the Incredible Journey only without the journey (and different animals come to think of it).
Anyway the words that matter in that little lot are "incredible", "ring" and "bright". Because this is one incredible clock, tastefully decorated with brightly coloured rings.

**PS By a remarkable coincidence we have just returned from a canoeing trip down the River Wye where we saw our very first otter. As a result we are now 10p poorer and the otter population of the Wye are enjoying boundless wealth!
